Egypt and Russia discussed expanding industrial cooperation and accelerating the Russian industrial zone project.
These sectors include engineering and metal industries, pharmaceuticals, textiles, glass manufacturing, as well as chemicals and polyurethane, packaging, and recycling.
The first project, developed by the Norwegian company Scatec, involves the establishment of a massive solar power plant in the Minya Governorate, under the name Valley for Sustainable Energy, Energy Valley, along with energy storage stations using battery systems.
The Prime Minister stressed that this partnership with Japan, as a key development partner, carries significant importance for Egypt.
The developer will implement the infrastructure works for the project with a total investment of $100 million, helping to attract a wide range of new industrial investments and contribute to the Authority’s goals of building integrated and sustainable industrial communities.
